ENT Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our growing ENT and Audiology team at CHI Health - St. Elizabeth. This is a full-time position that offers the latest advanced technology, allowing our specialists to administer hearing and vestibular function testing within our state-of-the-art ENT/Audiology suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including ear, nose, and throat disorders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Communication:
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide clear and concise medical information to patients and their families.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to coding and billing regulations.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
- Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to inform treatment decisions.
- Perform procedures as needed, in accordance with medical protocols.
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to share knowledge and best practices.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to drive continuous learning and improvement.
- Review and analyze clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements to ensure ongoing adherence.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices in audiology and ENT care.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
