About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assisting Program Coordinator to join our team at Southeastern College. This is a full-time position that requires day and evening availability.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of academic programs, ensuring a quality education for students in their programs at the campus level. They will work closely with faculty and staff to ensure consistency and quality in program delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor specific assigned academic programs at the campus level, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery of courses and programs
  • Coordinate with the Program Director at the university level and campus faculty at the campus level
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver education services to students through coordinating with Program Directors, communicating and monitoring delivery of core curriculum, delivering course lectures, facilitating student engagement, and assessing students and providing developmental feedback
  • Work with local advisory boards, coordinate and monitor externship programs, orient new faculty, and provide mentorship to departmental faculty members as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, such as medical assisting or healthcare administration
  • Licensed RMA/CMA certification
  • 4 years of experience in academic teaching, career college teaching/management, or professional/executive education
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
