About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team at ABC Home & Commercial Services. As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Manage the new hire onboarding process, including communicating with candidates and organizing new hire orientation.
  • Conduct background checks and drug screenings.
  • Provide clerical support to the HR department, including making copies, faxes, and maintaining HR email and electronic filing.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes.
  • Reconcile HR invoices monthly through Concur accounting/expense software.
  • Assist with benefits questions, annual wellness clinics, and open enrollment.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
