Van Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Van Driver to transport clients for our Adult Day Health program in Mashpee. This part-time position requires a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with split shifts from 6:30am to 9:30am and 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

• Transport clients safely and efficiently, adhering to established safety rules and road regulations.
• Ensure all required safety equipment is secure and maintained in the vehicle.
• Follow the Vehicle Maintenance Protocol and notify the Transportation Coordinator of any service needs.
• Report any problems or maintenance concerns to the Transportation Coordinator.
• Keep the exterior and interior of vans clean and free of hazardous materials.
• Assist at sites as needed.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts and wheelchairs are secure with tie-downs at all times.
• Maintain a daily transportation log and complete a Daily Pre and Post Trip Inspection Form.
• Drive a para van as needed to ensure transportation needs are met.
• Ensure the Daily Passenger Log is complete, signed, and turned in to the Site.

• Experience working with elders or disabled adults is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Ability to physically assist clients as needed.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
