Senior Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Fountainview at Gonda Westside, a luxury 199-unit senior living CCRC in Playa Vista, CA. As a valued member of our nursing staff, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Job SummaryThe LVN is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the C.N.A.s and ensuring compliance with state and local regulations. This includes maintaining a clean and safe environment, managing inventory supplies, and adhering to policies and procedures relative to OSHA, DHS, and other governing agencies.
Responsibilities- Tech Savvy: Good understanding of technology is essential for success in this role.
- Customer Service: Must have high-level customer service skills to interact with members, guests, and internal departments.
- Leadership: Directs the day-to-day functions of the C.N.A.s in accordance with current rules, regulations, and procedures that govern LAJHealth.
- C.N.A. Oversight: Oversees C.N.A.s, ensuring they adhere to policies and procedures.
- Collaboration: Works closely with Health Services Director and Memory Care Coordinator to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Compliance: Ensures compliance with state and local regulations, maintaining a high degree of composure and tact when interacting with members, guests, and internal departments.
- Experience: Experience in working in a senior living community, assisted living, memory care, hospital, or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
- Nursing Degree: Must possess a minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
- Licensure: Current State of California LVN license is required.
- Certifications: Holds a valid first aid and safety and CPR certificate.
- Decision Making: Ability to make sound decisions with a strong sense of urgency, coordinating multiple details and providing accurate information.
- Salary: We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience.
