Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Estates and Facilities Manager to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a 1.2 million square foot Pharma Manufacturing facility in Concord, NC.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, including facility and equipment maintenance, material handling, central utilities operations, and soft services such as food, janitorial, and landscaping.

You will also be responsible for leading the hiring process to build a team of skilled technical staff, supervisors, and managers. Additionally, you will provide formal supervision to employees, track training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and mentor staff.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in science or engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience in facilities management. Facility management certification is preferred, as well as experience in life sciences leadership in a manufacturing environment.
