Job Summary

Phalen Leadership Academies is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Transportation Specialist to transport students to and from designated pick-up and drop-off points. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of our students, adhering to assigned bus routes, and maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations
  • Follow assigned bus routes
  • Provide a safe transportation environment for all students
  • Arrive 30 minutes before route time
  • Perform daily inspection of the bus
  • Follow procedures to ensure passenger safety
  • Keep the vehicle clean and presentable
  • Weekly fueling of bus
  • Maintain awareness of unsafe conditions and avoid injury
  • Generally works 25-30 hours a week

Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred or GED
  • CDL license and yellow card, required
  • No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years
  • Clean driving record (no traffic citations in the last 5 years)
  • Ability to carry out assigned routes on time
