We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our toddler program team at The Learning Experience #174. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth for children aged 12 months to 36 months.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, and working closely with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional care and support to toddlers, promoting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our L.E.A.P. Curriculum, incorporating activities that stimulate learning and creativity.
  • Establish positive relationships with parents, sharing updates on their child's progress through regular communication.
  • Collaborate with center staff to create a dynamic and inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and mutual respect.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Associate's degree with relevant coursework accepted).
  • 1-3 years of professional teaching experience preferred.
  • State-specific certification and training requirements must be met (e.g., DCF 45 hours).
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Able to lift at least 25 pounds and sit on the floor with children.
