Job Overview

The Mill Casino Hotel & RV Park is seeking a skilled Cage Cashier to join our team. As a Cage Cashier, you will be responsible for performing various cashier functions, including paying slot tickets, exchanging currency, and balancing cash drawers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests.
  • Perform cashier functions, including paying slot tickets, adding tickets on a 10-key adding machine, exchanging currency, and redeeming cheques.
  • Assist other cashiers as needed.
  • Provide excellent guest and team member relations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and reports.
  • Comply with all applicable internal controls and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain security measures to protect company assets and confidential information.
  • Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures.
  • Report Title 31 information.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum one year cash handling experience.
  • Ability to operate a 10-key adding machine/calculator with high accuracy.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Ability to learn and perform cashier functions in accordance with prescribed standards.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug-free workplace policies.
