Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional with extensive experience in the Middle Office/Investment Operations domain, particularly with financial data. The ideal candidate will have in-depth data analysis skills, the ability to review different data sets, and define normalization strategies. This role involves applying functional business knowledge, performing gap analysis, and transforming data into useful data marts for clients/consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Middle Office/Investment Operations domain knowledge, including understanding the trade lifecycle and exposure to different types of data such as positions, transactions, and income across asset classes.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and review different data sets to determine common data components and define normalization strategies.
  • Apply functional business knowledge when building platform requirements.
  • Gain an understanding of data and transform it into data marts that are useful to clients/consumers.
  • Perform gap analysis between the source of data and existing data models to determine necessary model additions.
  • Implement software or data services.
  • Communicate effectively, summarizing succinctly and providing details when needed.
  • Work in a global setting, demonstrating team orientation.
  • Maintain a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Adapt easily to changing/evolving role requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience with in-depth data analysis.
  • Strong experience with SQL.
  • Previous experience implementing software or data services.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and capable of working in a global setting.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing role requirements.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous State Street Middle Office experience.
  • Knowledge of a trade lifecycle and exposure to different types of data such as positions, transactions, and income across asset classes.

Certifications (if any):

  • Relevant certifications in data analysis or related fields are a plus.
