As a skilled Event Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will ensure that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare food items according to recipes and instructions, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery, using correct portioning and meeting outlined standards.
- Taste all prepared food items to ensure quality and flavor.
- Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
- Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
- Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
- Assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
- Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Attend in-service and safety meetings.
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.
- Knowledge of safe food-handling procedures and ability to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
