Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Multimodality Imaging Specialist to join our team.

As an Advanced Multimodality Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in two or more disciplines, with at least 25% focus in an advanced discipline such as CT, MR, Nuc Med or IR. You will work under the general supervision of a Radiologist and perform imaging procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation dose reference levels, radiation dose monitoring, actions to be taken if the estimated dose exceeds set dose reference levels, and actions to be taken for cases when the reference level was exceeded which may include patient follow-up.

You will also be responsible for utilizing AIDET when communicating with patients to identify patient service requirements, ensure correct exam is performed on the correct patient, and establish rapport with patients and others. Additionally, you will need to communicate clearly and calmly with patients and their family regarding the test to be performed and assess the patient's ability to tolerate the exam.

The salary for this role is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience. However, we offer a competitive benefits package that includes immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits, 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%, tuition reimbursement, and PTO accrual beginning Day 1.

To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited program and less than 1 year of experience in the field. Certification/licensure/registration is also required, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT), and Registered Vascular Tech (RVT).
