Hospice Care Assistant

Niagara Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hospice Aide. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support to patients and their families, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a empathetic approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed staff with patient care activities and related non-professional services
- Perform light housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures regarding safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality
Requirements
- High School Education or Equivalent
- Current HHA or CNA Certification
- Six (6) months experience in Acute Care, Skilled Nursing, Adult Home or Home Care
