Senior Client Service Specialist

At Relation Insurance Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Client Service Specialist to join our team. As a key player in the insurance market, we pride ourselves on our dynamic culture, collaborative environment, and continuous drive for success.
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Sales and Account Management teams in servicing and retaining clients. This includes responding promptly to requests from clients, prospects, and members of the production staff, while ensuring client retention goals are met.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Personal Lines products and services, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be responsible for developing professional business relationships with producers, account managers, and clients, and will actively participate in efforts to gain and deepen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day maintenance of customer files to support the Service team.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Personal Lines products and services.
- Develop professional business relationships with producers, account managers, and clients.

- Identify, research, and provide resolution for escalated client issues.
- Assist in the remarketing of renewals to ensure a high level of account retention.
- Order renewal policies.
- Handle endorsements, including entering on company websites, following up on endorsements not received from carriers, checking endorsements for accuracy, billing endorsements, and sending to clients.
- Follow up on new business submissions with carriers for submissions not being handled by Risk Placement Specialists.
- Enter and rate policies in carrier websites and order new policies as needed.
- Issue standard certificates of insurance and other forms for holders.
- Check on payment status of direct bill policies to assure policies are not cancelled.
- Follow up on claims and current status, updating the agency management system with claims activity, payments closures, etc.
- Check audits for accuracy and review with agency staff as appropriate.
- Order motor vehicle reports and loss runs as directed.
- Act as resident expert for AMS and provide training and ongoing guidance to team members at all levels.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Property and Casualty and/or Personal Lines License from the state of domicile, which must be maintained thereafter.
- A High School Diploma.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, may be required depending on location.
- 3+ years of experience in Customer Service, with preference given to individuals with Personal Lines experience.
- Proficiency with computer software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and others.
- The ability to understand written and oral communications and interpret information written within policies.
- Experience with social media, including Facebook and Twitter.
- A valid driver's license, the ability to travel to client sites, and a reliable source of transportation.
