Job Title: Polish Interpreter

We are seeking a highly skilled Polish In-Person Interpreter to join our team at Universal Language Service Inc. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal communication skills in both Polish and English, as well as the ability to provide accurate and effective interpretation services in various settings.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide high-quality interpretation services in Polish to English and vice versa
  • Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients and practitioners
  • Adhere to interpreter ethical standards and procedural requirements
  • Maintain cultural sensitivity and adapt to diverse environments
  • Ensure accurate and correct concepts and meanings during interpretation


Requirements:


  • Fluent Polish language skills, with excellent listening and retention abilities
  • Successful completion of a proficiency assessment or national certification
  • Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice
  • Ability to read and write in both languages (optional)
  • Preferred qualifications: degree or certifications in interpreting practices, national medical interpreter certification
