About the Role

Cameron LNG LLC is seeking a highly skilled System Engineering Lead to oversee process control and optimization efforts in our facility. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in implementing safety instrumented systems, emergency shutdown systems, and distributed control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process control strategies to improve efficiency and safety
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in implementing control system upgrades and modifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of control system designs and modifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Chemical discipline preferred)
  • Minimum 20 years of direct DCS experience required; at least 4+ years in a similar position of responsibility and expertise in an operating LNG Liquefaction facility preferred
  • At least 15 years in the chemical, petrochemical, industry, or oil and gas industry
  • Prior experience with DeltaV control systems and Rockwell PLC systems preferred; experience with GE Mark-VI, Aspentech DMC, PI ODS, and OPC standards desired

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IEC61508, IEC61511, and IEC62443 standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Self-starter with ability to work strategically with minimal direction

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
