About the Role:

Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic Magnetic Resonance examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the direct guidance of a supervising Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
  • Perform diagnostic Magnetic Resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program (ARRT) or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiology Technologist required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) or Certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) preferred.
  • Six (6) months MRI technologist experience preferred.
  • BLS certified.
