About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Assistant to join our team at American Dental Partners. As a Business Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the front office and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Welcome Patients: Create a positive first impression for our patients by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome.
  • Manage Front Office Duties: Handle various administrative tasks, including answering calls, checking office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
  • Patient Scheduling and Records: Utilize our practice management software to schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Insurance and Billing: Process patient insurance claims, follow up on outstanding claims, and verify benefits and coverage.
  • Accounts Receivable and Payment Processing: Post insurance and patient payments, and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment.
  • Treatment Plan Fees and Payment Options: Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients to ensure clear understanding and satisfaction.
  • Partner with Providers and Team: Collaborate with our providers and team to implement systems and processes that optimize office potential and improve patient care.
