Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga, Fresno County. As a Senior Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services to inmates and staff, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI
  • Develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures to optimize diagnostic imaging services
  • Provide lead support and instruction to junior radiologic technologists and inmate personnel
  • Maintain good order and discipline of inmates being examined in the Radiology Department
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Possession of a current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services
  • One year of experience performing the duties of a Radiologic Technologist, Correctional Facility, in the California state service, or three years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
