Meat Department Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Department Specialist to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our fresh food team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our meat department operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate expertise in meat cutting, wrapping, and trimming, as well as knowledge of business operations, inventory management, and product quality standards
- Utilize handheld technology to make informed business decisions and drive sales growth
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17-$24, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for advancement and professional growth. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
