Job Description:
- This long-term locum tenens opportunity is available for at least 6 months, ensuring continuity of care for patients and stability for the medical team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 12-hour day shifts, including Inpatient Consult duties and Primary Stroke Service Attending call requirements.
- The schedule follows a 10-day block, with 5 days of Neuro hospitalist duties and 5 days of Telestroke coverage.
- Lumbar Puncture is a required procedure, and Telemedicine may be scheduled to assist facilities on neighboring islands.
Requirements:
- Current Board Certification in Neurology is required.
- Active licensure is preferred, but VISTA will license candidates with adequate availability being offered.
- Credentialing typically takes 3 months.
