Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Leadership Professional to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. In this role, you will assume shift responsibilities for the care delivery team, coordinating the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff. You will prioritize, delegate, and evaluate patient care, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to problem-solve system and unit-based issues. You will also participate in activities pertinent to the unit and hospital, demonstrating your commitment to personal and professional growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing leadership, preferably in a pediatric setting. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assume shift responsibilities for the care delivery team
  2. Coordinate the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff
  3. Prioritize, delegate, and evaluate patient care
  4. Work with the interdisciplinary team to problem-solve system and unit-based issues
  5. Participate in activities pertinent to the unit and hospital
Requirements
  • Associate Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of Michigan
  • One to two years of progressively more responsible experience in nursing leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate to others, and facilitate processes
Compensation

The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on relevant experience. The Detroit Medical Center offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs.
