Business Immigration Associate

Top Tier Reps is seeking a seasoned Business Immigration Associate to join their team in New Haven. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment-based immigration law and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess corporate employees' eligibility for U.S. visa status and provide expert guidance on the visa application process.
  • Prepare complex and customized RFE responses, PERM cases, and extraordinary ability petitions for sophisticated clients across various industries.
  • Manage clients and time-sensitive caseloads independently while working within a team and following direction.
  • Prioritize short- and long-term assignments along with daily/weekly/monthly duties.
  • Proactively communicate case progress to clients and supervisors.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of employment-based immigration experience.
  • Extensive experience with nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-1/E-2, etc.) and immigrant visas (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3).
  • J.D. degree.
  • Admission to any U.S. state bar.
  • Preferred experience with immigration/work authorization compliance, due diligence review, comprehensive immigration case analysis, client counseling, immigration case management systems, and tracking billable hours.
