Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at Rochester General Hospital. As a key member of our Observation/Short Stay Unit, you will provide compassionate care to patients and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
  • Conduct educational sessions with patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • A current RN license in New York State
  • Nurse Practitioner certification from a recognized accrediting agency
  • Experience working in an acute care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this role is $95,000 to $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
