Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers and patients, providing assistance with products and services, and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, adhering to state, federal, and company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Lead inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Cash Handling: Register sales, collect and handle cash, and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Training and Development: Maintain PTCB or ExCPT certification and participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices.
Requirements
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Basic level PC skills, including starting and shutting down computers, using mice, and accessing information online.
