Job Summary

Aequor Technologies seeks a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical-surgical nursing practices, including patient care, medication administration, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, managing a wide range of medical conditions and post-operative care.
  • Monitor and assess patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, documenting findings accurately and promptly.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper dosages and adherence to protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions to stabilize patients and prevent complications.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of medical-surgical nursing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and hospital information systems.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
