Job Summary

Pen Bay Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Midcoast Maine, is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join their team. As a key member of the facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of boilers and related equipment, as well as providing general maintenance, snow removal, and groundskeeping services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain boilers and related equipment to produce steam, hot water, air conditioning, and heat throughout the hospital.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing and electrical services.
  • Remove snow and ice from hospital grounds and parking areas.
  • Assist with groundskeeping and landscaping as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Maine driver's license.
  • Preferred experience with diesel generators, plumbing, and electrical services.
  • Ability to obtain State boiler license within 12 months of employment.
