Job Title: Recovery Coach

Job Summary:

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Recovery Coach to provide direct services to parolees and probationers under supervision by the Michigan Department of Corrections. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multiple paths of recovery and basic knowledge of addiction, mental illness, and/or a willingness and ability to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide information, support, assistance, advocacy, or "systems navigation" to individuals in a recovery-oriented support environment.
• Assist clients in acquiring knowledge and skills to explore areas of interest and opportunity.
• Work successfully with underserved populations and complex conditions.
• Utilize a broad-based working knowledge of community resources and communicate verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• Recovery Coach / Peer Support Specialist Certification preferred but not required.
• One-year experience desired.
• Demonstrate an ability to work successfully with underserved populations and complex conditions.
