The estimated salary for this position is between $1,044 and $1,508 per week, depending on the schedule chosen. This translates to approximately $54,208 to $78,416 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading/Unloading Freight: Safely load and unload freight from trailers, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Route Management: Plan and manage routes to optimize delivery times and minimize delays.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.

In addition to your regular duties, you may also be required to perform other tasks as assigned by management. These could include assisting with loading/unloading freight, maintaining accurate records and logs, and detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also be able to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • CDL: Possess a valid Class A CDL and any required endorsements.
  • Experience: Have at least 9 months of experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
