About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to oversee the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) department at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX.

This role is responsible for coordinating unit staffing, providing leadership, and ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assign and direct nursing and support associates during assigned shifts.
  • Meet with staff to plan shifts, services, and patient care, exercising independent judgment.
  • Assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute patient care assignments, and maintain productivity standards.
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $96,000 - $124,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
