Job Title: F&B Cook

Remington Park Racing and Casino is seeking a skilled F&B Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food and beverages to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and production requirements.
  • Follow all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Utilize various kitchen production equipment, including ovens, broilers, fryers, and kettles.
  • Make decisions, solve problems, and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and functional work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Stay up-to-date with food and beverage sanitation, guest service, and inventory control policies and protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive team dynamic.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff members. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate.
