About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Solar Power Operations Manager to lead our solar energy project team. As a key member of our operations department, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project team.
  • Coordinate client, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Select, onboard, and manage subcontractors and vendors to meet project requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-control measures to stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years of experience in the solar industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing solar energy projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
