Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Scheduler to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling all radiology imaging exams, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls promptly and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Obtain patient demographics, insurance information, and requested procedure data to reserve appointment times.
  • Place outgoing appointment calls to patients and medical offices to confirm and schedule visits.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area to promote a professional environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and scheduling for all radiology modalities, including Mammography, Ultrasound, X-Ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Act as a trainer and mentor for all new and incoming schedulers, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Understand and navigate various insurances and payers, along with a solid grasp of Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in medical terminology and scheduling for radiology modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a busy work environment effectively.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes and EOBs.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan. Our associates may also be eligible for paid leave, including Paid Sick Leave, and Holiday pay where applicable.
