Consumer Reports is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a fair and just marketplace for consumers. Our team comprises truth tellers, change agents, and consumer advocates who investigate and build coalitions to champion fairness and justice in the marketplace.

We leverage our evidence-based approach to advocate for safer products, a healthier environment, and equitable services for everyone. As a Manager Strategy & Planning, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of key initiatives, ensuring high-quality strategic planning and adaptive management to ensure enterprise alignment and results.

You will work closely with a range of leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, analyze market trends, support choice-making, develop actionable plans to drive growth and impact, and optimize performance to achieve ambitious goals across CR's priority portfolios such as Car, Home, Baby, and Digital Marketplace.

In addition, they will support ongoing monitoring and learning efforts in order to better determine strategies for success and to build a culture of candor and continuous improvement.

1. Drive Initiatives in a Social Enterprise by supporting critical strategy and planning projects across CR's priority portfolios—Car, Home, Baby, and Digital Marketplace.
2. Facilitate the identification and exploitation of opportunities that drive growth and enhance impact by closely partnering with Priority Area and Functional team leads.
3. Provide actionable insights utilizing your expertise in data analysis and market research, assessing potential opportunities and making informed recommendations that steer strategic decisions.

You will be responsible for synthesizing complex data into actionable insights that guide CR's strategic direction and optimizing performance to achieve ambitious objectives, supporting both established and new business models.

This hybrid position is eligible for remote work up to 80%. The target salary range for this position is $130k to $145k, reflective of the NY/CA market. Compensation for the successful candidate will be informed by their particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
