Job Description

The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and training support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the HR team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment: Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, phone screens, and new hire orientations.
  • Onboarding: Coordinate pre-employment screenings, primary source verification, and welcome email communications.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on HR matters, including performance management, disciplinary issues, and employee engagement events.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefit questions, enrollments, and terminations.
  • Training Support: Provide training and development opportunities for all levels of associates.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Minimum two years of work experience in an HR role; Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution strongly preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Professional Human Resources Certification a plus; knowledge of general HR compliance, computer applications (MS Office, Adobe Reader), and time management skills.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 based on qualifications and location. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, medical savings account options, 401K after 90 days, employee assistance program, life insurance, educational reimbursement, paid time off, and career pathing.
