Job Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and efficient service to patients.
  • Counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, providing education and support to promote healthy outcomes.
  • Maintain confidential information and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
