Field Survey Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Survey Technician to join our team at DGT Associates Inc. This role involves performing all aspects of assigned survey field and office duties, collaborating with other technicians and crew members, and ensuring that projects are completed correctly to company standards.
Responsibilities- Completes assigned survey tasks while complying with established field survey procedures using total stations, survey data collectors, GPS, and other survey equipment.
- Ensures that field data is in the proper format and provides documentation with photos or sketches to assist with office processing of the data.
- Thoroughly understands the scope of the project from the project supervisor before starting work.
- Reports to and communicates daily with the survey manager or project leader.
- Valid driver's license and safety record to safely drive a company vehicle to project jobsites.
- OSHA 10 Construction card and knowledge of construction and general safety.
- Ability to communicate well with others, stand, walk through rough terrain, carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds, and work in a busy environment or construction site.
This role offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
