Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate Homecare Professional to provide quality care and support to our veteran population in Caledonia, MN.

**Estimated Salary:** $17-$20 per hour

About the Role

This is an Independent Contractor 1099 Position that offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients.

  • Provide non-medical personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), housekeeping tasks, help with preparing meals, companionship, and assistance with quality time activities.
  • Observes, records, and reports activities and changes to the administrator.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assisting clients with toileting, including use of bedpan, commode, or toilet.
  • Assisting clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
  • Performing housekeeping duties.
  • Planning, preparing, and serving meals, with assistance from clients when possible.
  • Assisting with shopping and errands.
  • Reporting any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
  • Acting quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation.
  • Be willing to travel at least 45 minutes.
  • Have experience as a caregiver (preferable).
  • Able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
