Responsibilities

The selected candidate will join one of our trial teams and will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures.

The position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually. The selected candidate will possess outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and will be well organized, detail oriented, and able to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseload.

Qualifications

• Law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the New York state bar
• 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
• Experience working in a paperless environment
• Experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
• Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
