We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

About this Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our nation's heroes. As an Audiologist with MRG Exams, you will be responsible for conducting medical evaluations to determine the extent of a Veteran's hearing loss and other auditory-related disabilities.

The role involves reviewing the Veteran's medical records, conducting standardized tests, and completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. This forms the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran's benefits.

You will work directly with Veterans, providing empathetic and professional care. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct medical assessments on US Veterans, including Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests.
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in the computer portal.
  • Review and analyze medical records to inform your assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with Veterans, explaining the assessment process and results.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An Au.D. degree from an ASHA-accredited school.
  • A current license as an Audiologist.
  • Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

This is a salaried position, with an estimated annual salary of $120,000-$150,000 based on location and experience. The schedule is 3 days per week, with no evenings, weekends, or on-call duties.
