Medical Instrument Specialist

This role involves working in a dynamic operating room environment, providing support to surgeons and other medical professionals.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly.
- Care for patients of various ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, with sensitivity and understanding.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. In addition, certification as a surgical technologist in the state of Oregon is mandatory.
- The successful candidate will have completed either a training program in the armed forces or a surgical technology education program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.
- Prior experience as a surgical technologist, preferably in a hospital or ambulatory surgical center setting, is also highly desirable.
- This role offers a competitive salary of $43,800 per year, taking into account the median salary range for similar positions in the area.

- Familiarity with proper decontamination, washing, sorting, and reassembling of instruments is essential for this role.
