We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures.

About the Role

As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will work closely with our medical staff to provide high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results. Your expertise in MRI technology will play a critical role in helping us deliver exceptional healthcare services to women and children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in performing MRI procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes
  • Position patients on the examining table, adjusting immobilization devices to obtain optimal views of the specified area of the body requested by the physician
  • Monitor equipment for mechanical safety and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed
  • Transport patients to and from their rooms and ER, providing compassionate care and support throughout the process
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited program for technologists
  • MRI registry certification within 6 months of hire for eligible candidates
  • At least three to five years of previous MR experience, preferably in women's health and neonatal imaging
  • PREFERRED: Experience with Philips equipment and American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
