Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time Neurovascular Nurse Practitioner Specialist to join our esteemed Neurology team in Tacoma, WA. This role will involve working collaboratively with neurohospitalists to provide specialty care to neurovascular patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient consultative care and clinical oversight for stroke and TIA patients admitted to VMFH hospitals.
- Respond to in-hospital stroke emergencies as the primary stroke consultant.
- Provide urgent outpatient consultation and follow-up care to TIA patients and those with subacute stroke in clinic or virtually.
- Support local Stroke Leadership Teams, assisting with ongoing stroke center certifications and quality improvement projects.

Requirements
- Master's degree or doctorate in Nursing.
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current WA State RN/ARNP license with prescriptive authority.
- BLS for healthcare providers-ACLS (may be completed during onboarding).

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $62.50 and $80.77 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options and paid time off.
