Key Responsibilities- Built long-term relationships with clients to establish trust and loyalty.
- Developed and maintained comprehensive product and services knowledge to provide expert advice.
- Compiled and maintained lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, utilizing information from corporate office, co-workers, business directories, industry publications, trade shows, Internet sites, social media, networking at apartment association events, and referrals.
- Traveled throughout the branch's service area to visit future clients, establishing relationships and qualifying their needs.
- Presented appropriate products and services to future clients based on their identified needs.
- Performed field measurements of typical apartment floor plans, calculated square yard/square foot requirements for clients, and prepared proposals as needed.
- Addressed concerns and overcome objections of future clients to earn the opportunity to serve.
- Closed sales and developed client loyalty.
- Entered new customer data and other sales data into the computer database.
- Updated CRM daily, logging contacts with both regular and future clients.
- Worked with customer care and operations departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Investigated and resolved challenges that arose, maintaining client satisfaction.
- Became involved in Apartment Associations to stay updated on industry developments.
- Ability to build rapport with people and establish trust.
- Hardworking, results-driven individual who can build the business.
- Self-starter with a strong ability to succeed.
- Proficient in computer literacy and understanding of internet research and social networking.
- Proven track record in sales or multifamily housing (submit resume).
- Able to invest time to build territory and ensure customer needs are met.
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Dependable transportation to cover the greater Baltimore and surrounding areas.
- Indicate if professional sales training was received and what it consisted of.
- Indicate if mentored throughout the sales career and what was learned.
