About the RoleA licensed Physical Therapist Assistant is sought after to collaborate closely with a Physical Therapist, working under their guidance. Our well-equipped clinics boast a skilled support staff and state-of-the-art facilities.

- The ideal candidate will participate actively in patient care, notifying the supervising Physical Therapist of any matters concerning the patient's condition.
- They will follow the established Plan of Care and practice within state guidelines.
- The successful candidate must exercise sound judgment, care, professionalism, and skill in performing duties.
- Effective instruction and counseling of patients are essential in exercises and recovery.
- Patient needs should be identified and responded to with compassion and caring.
- Modifications should be conveyed to the Physical Therapist to ensure patient progress, safety, and comfort.
- Documentation in the EMR is necessary to support physical therapy service delivery.
- Under direct supervision, daily notes should be recorded by the Physical Therapist with co-signature.
- Patients will be informed by answering questions and providing information.
- Treatment will be provided by applying ice or heat packs, assisting patients on equipment, monitoring motion, tracking walking time and distance, and performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques as requested.
- Patient education involves demonstrating proper equipment use and exercise routines.
- Confidentiality must be maintained while ensuring patient confidence and protecting operations.
- A clean and safe working environment is maintained by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Reputation enhancement involves accepting ownership for accomplishing new requests, exploring opportunities to add value, and being a team player.
- Any issues requiring resolution should be reported to Physical Therapists.
- A positive attitude, showcasing a desire to connect with people each day.
- Candidates should be coachable, taking constructive feedback and turning it into actionable items.
- Patient satisfaction and outcomes are crucial, ensuring patients leave feeling happy and healthy with exceeded functional goals.
