Medical Professional for Maryland Healthcare Assignment

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Professional to fill a full-time assignment in Silver Spring, Maryland. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and provide top-notch patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial evaluations. Develop personalized care plans based on findings, patient preferences, and evidence-based guidelines.
- Medication Administration and Treatment: Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and therapeutic effects. Educate patients on medication use, side effects, and self-care.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, progress notes, and care plans. Document patient responses to treatments and changes in condition, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborative Care Coordination: Work with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care. Communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
- Patient and Family Education: Provide education on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management strategies. Empower patients and address their concerns with empathy and compassion.
- Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Contribute to the development of evidence-based protocols and guidelines.
- A valid RN license in Maryland.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an RN.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required depending on specialty).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to different work environments and schedules.
