Medical Malpractice/Long Term Care Defense Attorney Opportunity

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. is seeking an experienced Attorney to join our Fort Lauderdale, FL office, specializing in Medical Malpractice/Long Term Care defense litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on litigation risks and outcomes, legal rights and obligations.
  • Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments for case presentations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, analyzing and advising on complex legal issues.
  • Represent clients in mediations and hearings, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, integrating best practices and standards in client handling.
  • Meet requirements for designated minimum billable time, ensuring timely preparation of discovery and responses.
  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of litigation experience.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited university.
  • Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the State of Florida bar, with ability to be admitted in all Federal District Courts in Florida.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, producing high-quality work products.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Westlaw, and time-billing software.
