Job Title: Senior Real Estate Appraiser

About the Role:
As a Senior Real Estate Appraiser at CBRE, you will be responsible for preparing market value appraisals on real estate properties. You will work independently to prepare appraisal reports from start to finish, including all appraiser responsibilities and detailed appraisal analysis to value real estate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify the value to be estimated by studying appraisal requests, problems to be solved, and the scope of the project.
- Calculate the valuation method by selecting the approach and techniques for valuing property, including cost, direct sales comparison, and income capitalization.
- Research and analyze property information by collecting, verifying, and analyzing data regarding inventory of similar properties, sales and listings, vacancies and offerings, absorption rates, demand studies, social, economic, governmental, and environmental characteristics.
- Prepare appraisal reports by describing physical and economic property characteristics, appraisal procedures used, and information analyzed; disclosing assumptions, and hypothetical and limiting conditions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required. Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of commercial appraisal experience and 3 years of review experience. Institutional review experience is a plus.
- Must have General State Certification/License. MAI preferred.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business documents. Ability to respond efficiently to issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles using distinctive style.
- Above-average knowledge of financial real estate terms and principles. Complete understanding of approaches to value of real estate assets.
- Ability to address problems and provide a variety of options in various situations. Requires high-level analytical and quantitative skills with experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.
- Must be proficient in Argus, MS Word, and MS Excel. Good writing skills.
