Lippert Components seeks a highly skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in transporting finished chassis to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transport finished chassis to customers while adhering to all safety rules and policies;
  2. Perform final inspections of finished chassis and repair minor defects;
  3. Prepare finished chassis for transportation through appropriate stabilization and safety procedures;
  4. Deliver finished chassis to customers following approved delivery routes and specified delivery areas;
  5. Unload finished chassis at designated destinations using approved procedures;
  6. Coordinate necessary paperwork at departure, delivery, and return times;
  7. Receive and deliver miscellaneous goods as needed or assigned;
  8. Assist in repair work as required;
  9. Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be able to work effectively within a team environment to achieve company goals;
  • Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English);
  • Read and process written communication, including work orders and measurements;
  • Meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects;
  • Work with minimal supervision;
  • Demonstrate competency in transportation and over-the-road responsibilities;
  • Demonstrate welding competency and knowledge of welding systems;
  • Rotate to other production positions as needed or deemed necessary;
  • Operate a Lift Truck or Tractor as required;
  • Possess successful problem-solving skills;
  • Exhibit tact and diplomacy while maintaining professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.;
  • Work under physically and mentally stressful situations;
  • Prioritize tasks and adapt easily to changes throughout the day.

Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
