About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Naval Architect to join our team in Washington, DC, supporting the United States Coast Guard.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support in shipboard design, software, and systems integration for all C4ISR and weapons systems.
  • Troubleshoot system failures or integration issues, plan certifications, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and monitor engineering support subcontractors for topology development.
  • Assist the technical lead with team management and provide input on technical product development.
  • Conduct technical reviews of internally developed products.
  • Develop technical statements of work for Obligation Execution Team packages.
  • Document design activities for USCG system modifications.
  • Conduct studies and analyses for Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) development.
  • Review externally developed ECPs/ECs/TCTOs for technical sufficiency.
Qualifications
  • At least ten years' experience in government vessel design, construction, and repair with a focus on marine engineering, machinery control systems, and systems integration.
  • Detailed design and analysis experience for major shipbuilding acquisition projects.
  • Active Professional Engineer's License in NAME or Mechanical Engineering, and PM Level II certification.
  • Active Secret clearance.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $125,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
